About the Founder
Mathew Simupande, the founder of OneSun Solar, brings over 15 years of experience in the global technology sector, having worked with industry leaders such as HPE, Cisco, Autodesk, and Revizto. Throughout his career, Mathew has excelled in developing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions, building strong customer relationships, and driving business growth across diverse markets.
After spending 25 years abroad, living in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia, Mathew returned to Zambia with a clear mission: to address the energy challenges faced by his homeland. Witnessing the daily struggles of Zambians with unreliable power and costly energy alternatives, he was inspired to establish OneSun Solar as a solution for sustainable, accessible, and affordable energy.
Mathew’s international exposure, combined with his deep understanding of technology and commitment to community empowerment, positions him to lead the energy revolution in Zambia.
